We got an email from the City and our permit has been approved! Hooray! Now we just just have to make a small one time payment of $1191.88. WHAT. That fee is rediculous. Something nefarious is happening at the city offices!

They really like to hit people with permit fees. That's why people install water heaters and roofs without permits. But it is nice to do it right.
