Walking around is dangerous stuff - It's not just about tripping, or falling strait over because your head is so big. You could step on a rogue peice of sidewalk chalk, your feet can slide out from under you, or they could just take off into space and leave you in a heap on the floor. There are literally Zillions of different ways you can fall and permanently damage yourself. What is a person to do?
Once our kids start walking we like to show them the following safety video. We have found that with a little bit of awareness, we can really cut down on home-place accidents. As a person who falls down a lot, I find the information offered herein to be timely and invaluable.

The guy laying dead on the ground after a serious fall is mildly disturbing…then they go and say "it could be the end of your working days." And your non-working days, and your vacation days, and your "There a Doctor Who marathon on so I'l calling in sick" days...

Nice. If the poor "actor" didn't have injuries before those oh so professional looking "accidents", he probably did afterward.
I love the first example of things that change the surface to make it slippery. It looks like a pee, poop and a donut. Things I find in combination on my floors all the time.
If only we could all walk around in safety harnesses as shown, this danger would be practically eliminated.
My little guys sat at attention and sympathized with the guy falling each time with comments like. "OWIE!", "Bonk", "Ouch" This is a very traumatic video I hope he doesn't have nightmares.
I just taught my 3 year old to laugh every time the guy fell. That's good, right?
